Cast RPD (Upper/Lower)
Durable Metal Frameworks
Removable Partial Dentures (RPDs) with Durable Metal Frameworks are categorized by the number of teeth they replace and how they're fabricated. A "Metal Frame Up To 8 Units" refers to a Cast RPD where the strong metal framework supports up to eight artificial teeth, offering excellent strength and fit for common tooth loss. A "Metal Frame More Than 8 Units" signifies a larger, more complex metal framework for over eight teeth, demanding intricate design for extensive tooth loss.
"Acrylation" is the process of adding the pink acrylic denture base, which holds the artificial teeth, to this metal framework. "Acrylation Up To 4 Units" means the acrylic part supports up to four teeth, while "Acrylation Up To 8 Units" handles up to eight. For very extensive tooth replacement, "Acrylation More Than 8 Units" is used. In all cases, the robust metal framework ensures stability and efficient force distribution, making these RPDs durable and effective.
